As Blake LaVista reached out to grab yet another package from the homeowner's porch, a sudden light blinded her. She froze, caught red-handed in the act by the furious homeowner. Before she could even utter a word, rough hands grabbed her and dragged her into the house, throwing her down onto the floor. The man's anger was palpable as he tied her up tightly, his knotting skills surprisingly efficient.

But it wasn't until he left to search for more stolen goods that Blake truly panicked. She had thought she was so clever, ruining Christmas for countless people with her thefts. But now, as she lay helpless on the floor, she realized the severity of her actions.

The man returned with evidence piled high in his arms - packages upon packages that had gone missing. Blake's heart sank as he tossed them carelessly onto the floor next to her. Her car, once full of stolen goods, now sat empty outside.

In a desperate attempt to escape, Blake struggled against her bindings, but only succeeded in making them tighter. As they waited for the police to arrive and arrest her, she couldn't help but curse herself for getting caught and ruining what should be a joyous time of year for so many people. Shame and regret filled her as she faced the consequences of her selfish actions.
