Kloe Love perches on the edge of the sofa in her hotel suite, her fingers tapping nervously against her thigh as she rehearses her pitch about her father's inheritance. At the sharp rap on the door, she smooths her clothes and plasters on a smile and tells her Aunt Kody to come in. "Please," Kloe says, voice honeyed with desperation as she gestures to the document on the glass coffee table. "Just a portion of the trust. That's all I'm asking." Kody's eyes narrow as she scans the paper. "Absolutely not."

In one fluid motion, Kloe retrieves the handcuffs hidden beneath a throw pillow. The metal gleams in the afternoon light as she snaps one bracelet around Kody's wrist and the other to the heavy mahogany desk. "Now you're going to sign that trust over to me." Kloe circles her captive aunt like a predator, crimson lips curled into a smirk. "Not so clever now, are you?" She snatches her designer purse from the armchair. "Sit tight while I freshen up. We've got all night." The moment the bathroom door clicks shut, Kody contorts her body, reaching for the small key tucked into her sensible sneaker. The handcuffs fall away just as the bathroom door reopens. Kody lunges, pinning her niece.

"Here's how this works now," Kody hisses, her breath hot against Kloe's ear. "You do exactly as I say, or you'll never see a penny of that trust."Minutes later, Kloe writhes helplessly on the king-sized bed, wrists and ankles secured to the posts with the hotel's complementary bathrobe sashes. Kody's fingers dance mercilessly across her ribs, reducing her to breathless, pleading laughter."One final lesson," Kody announces when Kloe's mascara has streaked down her flushed cheeks.The bathroom's fluorescent lights illuminate Kloe's humiliation as she squats bound and naked in the porcelain tub. Kody turns the faucet with a theatrical flourish. "When this overflows, that old maintenance man will come running. Imagine his face when he finds you."
